 I'm a two-time Emmy-winning editor/producer with a background at NBC News Productions and a focus on documentary storytelling in the arts, culture, and contemporary social realities. Recently, I was Editor/Producer and story consultant on a film about the demanding Maestro of the 

Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra - Playing With Incredible Minds. 

This documentary short won the 2024Jury Award at the Arab/African International Documentary Film Festival in Zagora, Morocco. 

Previously, I was editor/producer, story consultant and 

contibuting writer on the feature documentary, 

Amen, Amen, Amen: A Story for Our Times.

 The story of a small Jewish community in Dubai that gave the gift of a Torah to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi - the first gift of its kind from a Jewish Community to a Muslim religious leader. This documentary won over 25 International and Domestic Film Festival Laurels. My latest project is a personal documentary feature, Chicken Fat: The MAD Legacy of Will Elder 

the story of my father-in-law, legendary MAD Magazine cartoonist, Will Elder. 

In addition, I was an editor/producer at NBC News Productions for over a decade. NBC work includes MSNBC documentaries and segment stories for 

NBC Nightly News, The Today Show, Dateline and documentaries for NBC partner networks. I pride myelf on being an expert editor/consultant in shaping stories for documentaries, promos, branded content, development concepts, pitches, sales and marketing in a variety of styles and formats. 

I can also handle your social media needs, having produced content for Northwell Health, Morgan Stanley, McKinsey, CHASE and more. 

I was on the team that provided editing services for the launch of 

MSNBC as well as producing/editing services for the development 

and finishing of numerous independent projects

during my tenure at National Video Center in New York City.

Gary is Executive Director of the Diabetes Project. A T1D for 40+ years, Gary has created a wide variety of educational content for people with diabetes. From Branding for the American Diabetes Association to advocacy videos for insulin pump and continual glucose monitor companies.
